Objective: The objective of this course is to focus on ways of designing and integrating enterprise architecture. The course explains the different forms of corporate information systems and their interaction. Mainframe systems and large scale clusters will be the focus of this infrastructure. The student will learn about the building blocks of current enterprise architectures, and then will learn how to connect them to solve the problems of large companies.
Content: Alignment of IT initiatives with business objectives. Efficiency and effectiveness of the IT infrastructure. Federal Enterprise Architecture (FEA). Large Scale Software System Development. Product Alternatives Analysis. Systems Integration. Ethical and Professional Representation.
